Getting to Singer Island
Singer Island sits in Palm Beach County, about 70 miles north of Miami and 15 miles north of West Palm Beach. The nearest airport is Palm Beach International (PBI) — 20 minutes by car or rideshare, and the most convenient option for most guests.
Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is around 75 minutes south and often offers more route options. Miami International (MIA) works at roughly 90 minutes, though traffic adds time during peak hours. A rental car isn’t strictly necessary — you can walk to the beach, restaurants and most local amenities from the gate — but it’s useful for day trips to Jupiter, Juno Beach or Peanut Island.
What to Pack
Singer Island is casual beach living. Overpack at your own risk.
The essentials: reef-safe sunscreen (non-negotiable — the reef at Blue Heron Bridge is worth protecting), a rash guard for snorkelling, flip-flops, and one slightly smarter outfit for an evening at Guanabanas or somewhere along the Jupiter strip.
Because every bungalow has a full kitchen and in-unit washer-dryer, you can pack considerably lighter than you would for a hotel stay. Bring a week’s worth of clothes. Wash them mid-stay. Leave with the same bag you arrived with. We provide towels, hotel-grade bedding and all kitchen essentials — you don’t need to bring any of that.
Building a Week
A well-structured Singer Island week looks roughly like this: beach mornings, pool afternoons, easy dinners within walking distance for the first few days — then a day trip to MacArthur Beach or Blue Heron Bridge, an evening at Guanabanas, a morning at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach if you have anyone who’ll be moved by watching a sea turtle recover.
Peanut Island is worth half a day. Book the water taxi from Riviera Beach Municipal Marina — there’s snorkelling off the reef, mangrove trails and a Cold War nuclear bunker that makes for oddly compelling conversation.
The itinerary doesn’t need to be complicated. Singer Island does most of the work.
